Chapter 1
He couldn't believe his eyes as he read the divorce petition. Had the woman he had known for ten years and been married to for six really written all of this? With every page he turned, the anger inside him grew. Each sentence seemed to erase the life they had built together. How could she do this to me? he thought. How could she write these things? In his mind, all he had ever done was work for his family and give his children the best life he could.
Chapter 2
As time passed, his anger slowly gave way to disappointment and sadness. He had even started questioning himself, but then he stopped and thought, "No! You didn't do anything wrong! How could she do this to me!" Now he needed to calm down and decide what to do next. His wife had taken the children and left. A wave of sadness washed over him once again. He was alone in the house....
